When your best is just not enough,
when you feel that the whole world doesn't seem to care,
when you look around you only find emptiness,
when you think you are so insignificant,
when you think your life is infested with nothing but regrets,
when the pain within you is so much more than the things you live for,

you can't help but weep,
the hurt cuts so deep inside you that it eats into your own soul,
you lose yourself,
you lose control,
you do things you could never have imagined,
you forget who you really are,
you think that God has turned his back on you,
you do things that can never satisfy,
you have no choice but to throw in the towel.
